I'm combining classic Rider-Waite Tarot imagery with stuff from my Life in Glory Sequence of novels to make my own Tarot deck. 78 cards, oh god.

10 - The Wheel of Fortune = Morgan Harvison

The Wheel of Fortune does, indeed, indicate fortune coming your way. Therefore at this point it's strange that I should choose Morgan for this card, since I picked her as the first LIG protagonist (secondary or otherwise) to kick the bucket, and since she has no luck to begin with. I wanted to put the clock hands to her time of death, but I put it at 10 for the card number without thinking.

The Glory Clock Tower, my replacement for the wheel in the original card, appears in none of the novels (yet; I'm editing) but DOES in "The Girl (Heart That's Healing)." It did not originate there, but rather in this drawing-->CLICK. BTW the clock face is obviously lit up, and this is in the evening/night.

Also, I decided to stop putting the character names on the cards. That way someone who doesn't even know I'm a writer can appreciate the art of the cards without asking after the random names.

I love clocks. I also love the hair flow and the color choices - the darker red and blue against the pale clock tower really make her stand out.

I love how eerie this looks - her sitting like that in the wind next to a huge clock. Something about it. xD I also like the concept of the wheel of fortune as a clock.
