Unnamed writing 1
Her mouth hurt. Like some one had taken a razor to it and cut it up. There was sunlight streaming into her window. She slowly opened her eyes. Alyss Thorgud was now sitting up on a cot in a classroom, probably a biology class by the looks of the decorations, and had very little recollection of the day before, except... “Damn...” she muttered to herself. Well, at least she wouldn't have to wonder about where her parents were any more.
She knew exactly where they were: on the other side of the fence with the people who ate them. She yawned. Obviously a bad idea, now she was bleeding. “Damn, damn, damn.” she muttered. She had fallen on the fence. The fence which she had climbed many times before, however those times had been to get out of school, not into it. How stupid did you have to fall on a chain link fence? Alyss stood, cupping a hand to her chin to try and staunch the flow. Who knew that the skin under your chin was so thin? She looked around the bathroom and found the medkit.
She walked back into the hallway, a wad of gauze pressed to her wound. She was in the west end of the school. An area she hadn't really explored quite yet, but it must of been safe enough. She was alive after all. Alyss walked down the hall now, checking the doors, finding out which rooms were open, and which would need to be unlocked when she came back around. Faintly, from rooms away, she heard something knock over. She drew her pistol quickly, and rounded a corner to find herself facing a - dog? Slowly she holstered her gun and went up to the dog, letting it smell her hand before she pet it. "Hey boy," she murmured to it. Where did you come from?"
