The morning came, bringing new hopes and lies
Which I fed myself, so that my soul rots and dies
A mother's care was way too protective
So I had to tell her my side
Listen Ma, I'll just be a while
I'm a grown boy, I can take care of myself
See, it's a quiet place which nobody can find
I go there to get things off my mind
Don't worry Ma, the wont find me there
About that old ruin, those armies don't care
I went along the same old street
Where we used to ride our bikes everyday
The silence of the morning was hauntingly clear
But to my best knowledge, no one was there
I liked being alone, so that I don't share my toys
That's how it is, us boys will be boys
A flash tore the silence, and I heard the ground roar
And before I could realize, I was there no more
It was too quick for feeling, too fast for my head
I don't why for what reason, I was now dead
Ma cries in madness, she'll end her life
But where would she go, there's no end to this strife
They called us terrorists. For what, I don't know
By destroying our homeland, they leave us nowhere to go
I hated no party, yet it took me away
For this our family's hatred will never sway
I was a child of Gaza, who held no right
To the ousiders as well, who funded this fight.
FOR GAZA!!!!
