I love Star Wars [Old AND new].
I love Traditional 2d Disney Animation.
I love wide-screen aspect ratio.
The conclusion? I made me a pretty poster with all those things combined!
I have to admit, I like this a lot. I am really happy with how it looks.
The characters are all drawn out by hand, so the all the "beasts" and "Jedi" are very large as originals, but had to be shrunk down to fit the ratio in the montage.
The background was completely digital. I don't like using the computer as a medium in that way, but since the background was minute, I let myself slip just once!
Anyhow, my little homage to the mother of all sagas.
"Star Wars" and all related characters, logos, etc., are property of Lucas... and apparently, he hasn't learnt to "share".

Ahh..finally some artwork of those poor little beasties that died in that arena scene.
Dunno why, but I always feel bad for animal/alien critters that die in such a way. ;) Anyway, the background looks fine to me. :) I really like all of it! Terrific work!
