a full moon stands high in the sky, shining upon the Hellsing manor. In one of the largest halls stands Alucard watching the moon through one of the gigantic windows. The door opened a little and perking her head around the corner of the door was Scarlet.
“you called for me, sir Alucard.” she asked, hearing no response she entered, approaching him slowly, standing a few feet behind him.
“sir Alucard?” she reached out to touch him.
“when the Devil is too busy and death's a bit to much.” Alucard suddenly said with a singing tone.
Scarlet jumped in surprise when Alucard suddenly spoke.
“they call on me by name you see, for my special touch.” he turned around to face Scarlet, eyes glowing red with delight.
“to the Gentlemen I'm Miss Fortune, to the Ladies I'm Sir Prize.” he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer, continuing the song.
“but call me by any name any way it's all the same.” he stroke her face.
“I'm the fly in your soup, I'm the pebble in your shoe. “ he started to dance with her.
“I'm the pea beneath your bed, I'm a bump on every head.” spinning her around after every sentence.
“I'm the peel on which you slip, I'm a pin in every hip.” surprised by the sudden dance Scarlet just went along with the flow.
“I'm the thorn in your side, makes you wriggle and writhe.” he released after the final spin.
“and it's so easy when you're evil, this is the life, you see, the Devil tips his hat to me.” he spread his arms and turned around to face the moon again.
“I do it all because I'm evil and I do it all for free.” he turned around to face Scarlet again, a maniacally grin spread across his face.
“your tears are all the pay I'll ever need.” he approached Scarlet again, who backed away a little.
“while there's children to make sad.” he grabbed her hand again and pulled her closer.
“while there's candy to be had.” and spun her around again
“while there's pockets left to pick.” moving there feet to the imaginary music that played in there head.
“while there's grannies to trip down the stairs.” the dancing started again.
“I'll be there, I'll be waiting round the corner, it's a game, I'm glad I'm in it, 'cause there's one born every minute.” he released her again, his grin spreading even wider as he was playing with her.
“and it's so easy when you're evil, this is the life, you see, the Devil tips his hat to me.” he took his head of and threw it somewhere.
“I do it all because I'm evil and I do it all for free.” his glasses soon followed. He grabbed her hand and planted a small kiss on it.
“your tears are all the pay I'll ever need.” his eyes glowing even redder for a second.
“I pledge my allegiance, to all things dark.” he went down on one knee.
“and I promise on my damned soul to do as I am told, lord Beelzebub has never seen a soldier quite like me, not only does his job, but does it happily.” he stood up again, grabbing Scarlet in the progress.
“I'm the fear that keeps you awake.” he spun her around one last time.
“I'm the shadows on the wall.” his shadow grew larger on the walls.
“I'm the monsters they become.” turning into many different things, gruesome things.
“I'm the nightmare in your skull.” he grabbed Scarlets face, making her meet his deadly eyes.
“I'm a dagger in your back, an extra turn on the rack.” he backed away still holding her hand.
“I'm the quivering of your heart, a stabbing pain, a sudden start.” he released her again, spreading his arms once again.
“and it's so easy when you're evil, this is the life, you see, the Devil tips his hat to me.” Scarlet backed away only to get her arm grabbed by Alucard.
“I do it all because I'm evil and I do it all for free, your tears are all the pay I'll ever need.” he twisted her so that he had her grabbed from behind.
“it gets so lonely being evil, what I'd do to see a smile.” his tone became sad, the grin disappeared.
“even for a little while and no one loves you when you're evil.” he placed a kiss on her cheek.
“I'm lying though my teeth!” the maniacally grin appeared again.
“Your tears are all the company I need.” and he sank his fangs in her neck, drinking from her blood. Tears appeared in Scarlets eyes, but she didn't stop him.
And the moon kept shining brightly, giving the only light throughout the whole scene.
