I noticed that there is a lack of art from the Swan Princess so I decided to draw it after I found my vhs copy.
I forgot how much I loved this movie-even if it got kinda cheesy at parts I still love it, I always wanted to be odette I thought she was so pretty.
So I drew this up. I got the background from a shot from the movie because I just couldn't get a good background and I didn't want to just put it on a white background. The water around her looks kinda retarded but I loved drawing her dress and her hair--hair is so fun to draw. I looked at a lot of pictures of dresses to see how it would fold when she picks it up.
Her face got a big screwed up too-I always get a good body and then screw up by putting the face on. I think I initially drew the picture too small so I didn't have much room on her face so it came out squished. I actually might do more from this so I can practice her face and since I bought the dvd (target- 5$ =) ) I can make more and I already have one sketched of odette and derek as kids- that opening song was the best
