You need more frames of it dying out or just exploding, It feels like it starting way to quick or ending to fast but its very well done. :0 Im not to biggy about light source or direction. This is more than I can ever dream of doing :/
This looks cool: I think it would look even cooler if you had the shape continue to expand while it's resolving, though. Having the gray smoke at the end pull inward seems to go against the force of the initial explosion. Good job so far!
