Ilike the overall design, and the kimono and face/hair is really nice. But I think the tree and the katana could use alot more work. As you did with the kimono I suggest looking at refferences of Katana hilts, the blade (because the blade represent a western/europian type of sword whilst the hilt represents the japanese katana's.
Ooo I like this. It's very folk lore looking. It almost looks like it was really done on parchment. The folds in the kimono seem to be pretty accurate.
