This is a commission. it's probably the most elaborate commission i've ever done. the original commission was really open ended, so i wanted to use it to tap a little into my romantic side :)

references:

there are Art references as well as love reference.

the books and papers are all blank and the clock faces have no hands to show that when one is in love, at times, it seems like the world melts away and all that matters is the moment a couple shares.

time definitly exists, as the sunlight shows, but it doesn't matter at the moment.

plus the books/papers are a direct Vincent Desiderio reference... he's one of my current favorite artists of all time- if You don't know him, look him up! he's made of awesome, and went to the same school as Thomas Eakins and Bo Bartlet, two more of my fav. artists.

i'm so glad to be finished with this. i learned tons from it!

and, i'm still taking commissions :)

The soft colors are beautiful and make me think of a mellow Saturday morning.

I really like the colors. they give off a more gentle & romantic feeling, & I love the perspective as well.

I also enjoy the more symbolism pieces you put in. B)
