This particulair piece of music was finished in August 2008. The main reason I hadn't uploaded it yet to be honest was....annoyance. I was annoyed with the lack of feedback I got on sheezy, and decided not to upload this particulair piece which I hold to be one of my biggestr pieces written yet.

The piece is scored for 20 instruments, which for space's sake I won't list and Solo violin.
The title was coined by a friend of mine whom after hearing it said it sounded like a dance macabre but then subdeued.

The piece starts with the low strings rumbling on a D note..followed by the other srtrings in tremolo which play a chord....The low wood and brass instruments then play a desolate melody in unison which gives a haunting effect. After this stern section the flute plays a more upbeat/tender melody accompagnied by the triangle....this melody gets build upon...and erupts in the climax in which the solo violin comes in and takes the theme over. The piece then returns to the beginnin, but the chords are thicker and the timpani join in the tremolo, the higher wind instrument chime in to the desolate melody thus giving it a fuller texture with complete chords...the piece ends with a last statement of the merrier theme...in a slower tempo....and a last orchestral crescendo/build up.

Enjoy<3

Wow, that is one excellent composition! The orchestration is great too, and I love the tremolo strings, very effective. You must have spent a lot of time on this, but it was very well worth the effort, bravo!!
