Nova WIP

Um, a nova. This took forever, and I'm still not happy with it... I don't even know what it is I don't like about it. Maybe I've been staring at it too long. Kind of a shame, since I put a lot of effort into this one... I didn't start out with any intention of making a nova; the star started to look like it was exploding while I was fooling around with it, so I ran with it.

At least I learned quite a bit while making it, so it wasn't a waste of time. Calling it a WIP for now, since I know I'm going to go back and find a million things to change (hopefully for the better) once I take a break from it for a few days. Any criticism is welcome, as always.
