Om nom nom?..

Om nom nom... ya okay not really, but the number of zombie jokes my figure drawing class was cracking while drawing the cadavers today was pretty up there. Strange number of food references again too... I don't think i will be eating jerky anytime soon.

Anyways this is the hand of a cadaver (foreshortened I was sitting at its feet somewhat)

Yes I was drawing an actual dead body (Usually do this once or twice a year we just go in with the medical students). No it did not have its skin or fat on it (Ecorche) - all muscle tissue, nerve endings and blood vessels were there however as well as the internal organs which we could view by opening up the chest cavity (with gloves on of course ). It does not smell that bad... they use alcohol to preserve them at this university. Mostly smells like a really weird doctors office... I took a few showers upon getting home anyways.
