Acid-trip Class Work

Today's life drawing class seemed unusually productive for me. I managed to make nearly every gestural drawing somehow satisfying to myself, a feat I have never really accomplished before. Usually it takes a good hour or two before I even start getting warmed up but today was right off the bat. For a moment if occurred to me that it might simply be the fact that I hadn't slept in over 24 hours that was warping my perspective but now that I'm a little refreshed I see that wasn't the case at all.

This guy was especially fun to do. Since I didn't have the proper flesh tones in my supply and the fact that I have never worked with this medium before I expected everything to come out crap-tactular. But somehow, I'm actually kinda happy with the result. I just decided to say 'fuck it' and do whatever I please and throw as many colors in as I could.

The picture sucks a lot so I had to manipulate it a bit to make it brighter. Maybe later I'll get a better picture or even try to scan it as soon as I find where my school hid the damn scanners
