tutorial part 2

COLORING

Here is the final part of my tutorial.

First of all let me say a couple of things.
Use copic paper for drawings with copic markers,it's not the best paper you can get but it does not bleed, so it will do.
you have to be fast with those markers or else the ink will dry and you make blotches....but not to fast because the paper has to absorb the ink or else the color will be deeper in some places then the others.One nice trick is, use layers, that way the color get's even.

As you can see there are no tricks, it's just lots of practice...when i first got these markers i was little disapointed because my coloring did not look like clamp...but with time and practice i got better!!!

Now, first i made with a colored pencil the outlines so that i will know where the shadows are...then i start coloring the shadows, i use layers in the skirt, the t-shirt and the hair (because i don't have so many corors ) than i finish by drawing the rest of the picture with the same colors (without layering). Only the skin has 2 differend shades!
Then comes the backgroud....well....i really suck at backgrouds! i used colored pencils to make the outlines off the tree and the clouds and then i colored it. With the tree i also used the colorless blender (as u can see i am not that good with it) and i colored the entire sky ares twice so that it will not make any blotches.
I also used acrilic white color for the ''white sakura petals''

I used the folowing colors:

Skin color: E00
Skin shadow: YR02
skirt: B26
skirt shadow: B26 (3 layers)
T-shirt: Y15
T-shirt: Y15 (3 layers)
Hair: C4
Hair shadow: C4 (4 layers)
sky: B24 (2 layers)
