(
Kaisai without armor.)
"Kaisai" is Japanese for "jubilation", and that's quite fitting. There's never a time when Kaisai isn't chipper and ready to bring a smile to someone's face. Sure that can make her personality a bit... overwhelming at times, but she has a big heart and is always willing to lend an ear.
Well. Certainly the most demanding chocobo I have ever encountered. Not only did she make the demand to have her own decorative armor, but to have bead accents as well. She encompasses well over a week of work, and that armor is surprisingly heavy. Of course she's worth it, just look at her! Utterly fabulous.
Yes, of course I made that armor. Link by link. Then embellished it with AB siam Swarovski crystals. For clearly that makes everything a million times more awesome. Kaisai herself is embellished with the same AB siam Swarovski crystals, and dozens of little tiny size 11 peacock-hued seed beads. Her body and beak are crocheted, legs are incredibly strong (read: annoying to work with) wire wrapped with yarn. She stands at about 8 inches high, and all of it fabulous.
Sold at Anime Boston 2009.

"Kaisai" is Japanese for "joy" or "settlement," not "jubilation."
Other than that, though, I am very impressed. I've always liked black chocobos, and her fancy suit only makes it better.
