With the plastic Bag manipulation, try using oil pastels to create colour, by adding gains of it on your piece of plastic bag when you out it under the iron. (look futher in Gallery for first Plastic bag manipulation for instructions) It heats under the heat onto the bag,adding more colours make them blend together, it comes out with a nice effect.

I really like this composition, and the colours. :) Directly thought of watercolor pencils, you should try those some time, as with that you can also still see structure or paper through the colors, however if you add water on some spots it's like watercolor, bet you could make awesome stuff with that. :)
