In A Cage... Really Trapped?

Some people believe the caged bird is the trapped bird.
The person who has no will.
Who has no control.
Who has no freedom.
While the same is true, we must take time to ponder this concept.
The caged bird cannot fly.
Most see this as robbery.
A bird, restricted from what it does best.
The caged bird cannot fly, but it learns to walk and climb.
I see this as opportunity.
A bird, while it cannot fly, learns to do other things that some birds cannot.
Even though this is tough to see, this is the truth.
This is there.

Contradiction is key to perspective.

It depends, like the whole is the glass half empty or half full kind of thing.

Interesting though.
