The Paths have been crossed
The crumbs are gone and the way, and the way is lost.
melencholy phantoms eye our skins
poison apples falling with the wind.
Hear the sigh in the trees
those who enter here never leave.

And the rangers stream out of their cabins
they are the hunters, we are the reabbits
and maybe we don't want to be found.
maybe we don't want to be found.
from "Rangers" by A Fine Frenzy.

I love that song, and I wanted to draw my interpretation of it. Most people think this is darker than the song sounds. What do you think? I don't feel like this is dark as much as it is fanciful, persay.

I'm thinking they're rabbit skulls, I'm not sure I'm right on that. :C

Ow now this is something! It's just simply amazingly done! I like the whole idea behind it and the lyrics fit so well,I'm soo envying you right now because even if I try my best I would never do it soo beautiful! I really like the tree behind them, the shading it's simple and yet looks so hard to make (hehe maybe it truly is ^^; ) ow and the rangers are totally cute scary things

interesting.

I truly love this - it would make a great etching, as the blacks would be darker and kinda spooky. The rabbit people (?) don't look very at ease .... is the thing in the bg hunting them? It's all just awesome.
The diversity of your art is amazingggg!

I don't think it's dark at all. It's quite upbeat looking and full of wander. Love the style of it. You're very talented.

I've never heard the song or band, but the picture's awesome. I love oldschool black and white ink drawings like in The Divine Comedy and Alice and Wonderland.

Maybe that's why it comes off as dark, just the art style brings to mind enough weirdness.

Your patience is impressive. That is all.
