Character Design: Beta

For my flash project, "The Adventures of Jake and Beta"

Here, have a crappy written description of her.

Beta was built in Japan, designed as an anime-like chibi in appearance. She is a Best Friend Forever (BFF) Unit, specifically to help the mentally challenged. She comes complete with perfectly safe hover boots to get around quickly, though she's terrible at keeping her balance with them.

During her free time she hangs around with Jake, where like any human she works with she needs to keep an eye on. Most of Jake's ideas she doesn't approve of, but tags along with him because she knows he'll need her. She'll usually try to keep Jake on task since his mind wanders from the objective often, but in the end he usually shows her good results. She is sometimes concerned for him and often seen overprotecting him from others.

Putting simple, she's the quiet but cautious woman who is usually overlooked by others. She can usually problem solve her way out of things. She's organized and doesn't wait until the last minute to do things.

However she doubts her abilities letting others walk over her. she gets easily stressed over tasks needing to be done. She doesn't demonstrate maturity, still thinking through the logic of a child (However she is mature in the matter of fart jokes and the such).

- Anyway, I plan to make a full reference sheet for Beta in the future. So I guess whenever that's finished this will be scrapped!
