A rewrite of an old poem. Not happy with the drums at all, but God knows when I'll get around to messing with them.
Fall into me
I am a porcelain dish
I am your own little fish
Hook line and sinker
Wrapped round your finger
Fall into me
I am a river so deep
I am your favorite treat
Sugar and sweet jam
Melting in your hands
Whatever you want me to be
Whatever you want me to be
I'll be
Hold on to me
I am a charm on a string
I am a delicate thing
Didn't know your touch
Could damage me this much
Hold on to me
I think I'm falling apart
I am a shattered glass heart
Broken by your lips
Begging to be fixed
Whatever you want me to be
Whatever you want me to be
I'll be
I'm pent up
Release me
I'm your clay
So knead me
I'm crashing
On your shores
I just want
To be yours
Come back to me
I am a sky colored gray
I think I'm fading away
Turned into your ghost
Haunting your bedposts
Come back to me
I am a book in the dark
I am page without marks
Empty and see through
Nothing without you
Whatever you want me to be
Whatever you want me to be
Whatever you want me to be
Whatever you want me to be
I'll be

Oh my god, I love this! This was always one of my favorite poems by you and the rewrite is just awesome. I seriously need to go back and fix up some of my old poems too. I am way too behind on this challenge. You, on the other hand, are doing an excellent job, hon! I'm so proud of you. ^-^
