What a lame title... haha...
Annnnnnyyyywaaaaaaay... I have a little closet obsession with a pet site called Neuro Galaxy (www.neurogalaxy.co.uk), which I totally think you should check out!
Well, on that site I'm a bit taken with a certain item called a "Juicy Passion Fruit" so in addition to my virtual collection on the site I decided to make one in real life!
So here it is, my own little juicy passion fruit! I made this using a rock (strictly for weight purposes) covered in tin foil, then taped together and covered in pink super sculpey. The little swirls are actually made of thread that I stuck in the "fruit", though they can easily come out (even after baking. ;_; ) so the whole thing is really delicate! The them is actually a stem I cut off of one of the fake plants in my house, and the same goes for the leaf! Fun fact... those are held onto the fruit by the first stem which melted when I baked the thing! o_o;
The reference pic I used to make this thing is in the bottom right corner there... yaaay for official item drawings (that pic was NOT drawn by me)!
So, there ya have it! I only wish I could eat it!
