Omega Zero MK IIxCiel Valentine's story!

It was a typical day in Ion City, the heavily populated city that had been built near the Resistance base after the Ragnarock incident. It has been ten years since Dr. Weil's demise, and the lives of the people of that city were happy, knowing that the world was now changing for the better and that the nightmares of Neo Arcadia, Dr. Weil, and Sigma were diminished. However, in one street that was considered the main route to the Resistance base, a reploid was walking, and he was obviously stressed out over a great many things. The reploid wore dark-grey armor with a navy blue under-armor, and his armor had a sandy-colored trim that matched his long hair. Although he was able to hide most of the pain he was in through his expression, the slight glow of his ruby red eyes were making his inner rage vividly clear. After awhile, he finally stopped at a corner a mile or so away from the Resistance base and leaned against the corner of a building, trying to clear his thoughts. He was, however, oblivious to a small boy whom was walking around, crying for some reason. The boy spotted him after a moment and walked up to him.
"E-Excuse me, mister," the boy said, still sobbing, "C-Can you help me find my mommy?" The black armored reploid sighed, knowing that he should, but was still just in so much pain. He wasn't a stranger to this pain, however, it's something he lived with everyday. The idea of being a replacement to the one he cared about the most always seemed to break him on the inside, especially since the one he'd be replacing was the one he was meant to kill. The reploid was about to answer the boy, but it was too late, since the boy had moved on. The boy saw another potential person who could help him: A girl who looked like in her mid-teens, who had a pair of beautiful sapphire eyes and long golden hair that was put up in a ponytail due to the pink and white helmet she wore, along with the pink dress, blue--grey bodysuit, and gloves and high heels. The girl seemed to be more than happy to help the boy, but asked him if he saw someone whom was very special to her, since she was looking for someone as well. The small boy led the girl towards the corner, back to the armored reploid, who was oblivious to their presence.
"Omega!" the girl spoke, "Please, stop being so negative! Why would I leave you? Zero has Iris and I have you!" The dark reploid, who was known as Omega Zero MK II, was in shock to hear the girl's beautiful voice, and was thinking of how to respond to it. The girl seemed a bit more concerned and spoke as she took a few steps closer, "… Omega?" Omega had looked over his shoulder and his ruby eyes met her sapphire eyes, and quietly replied, "Ciel… I'm always feeling like I'm just not good enough for you… Besides, Zero is the original and you deserve a true hero like him anyway… Not a pitiful replacement likes me…" The girl, now recognized as Dr. Ciel, the leader of the Resistance, sighed. She knew that this was a common pain of his, but went closer to him so she could see him easier and said, "You're no pitiful replacement, Omega… And you are good enough!" After a minute, Omega sighed; he knew he was just causing trouble for everyone else around him, despite just wanting to be alone so he could clear his head.
"… Okay…" Omega finally replied, "… I'll try to stop… I just love you so much… and I'm sorry for taking a bit of my pain out on Zero when he was bothering me before I left…" Ciel remembered the large hole in Zero's chest after he made the mistake of taunting Omega's thoughts about him being with Ciel, despite his love for Iris. She put that aside and happily replied, "… It's alright, Omega… I love you." Ciel's words caused Omega's face to turn a light pink, and stammered to speak, "I-I love you too, Ciel…" He turned around and moved to go to her, but tripped on a crack and accidently hugged her as he tried to regain his balance, leaving both of them blushing intensely, with Ciel obviously enjoying the moment. Omega, however, quickly let go and shyly took a step back, not wanting to do anything to offend the girl whom he loved so much.
"I-I'm sorry, Ciel…" Omega said, but before Ciel could respond, the small boy yelped and hid at the sight of a pantheon, hiding behind Ciel's leg as Omega got in front of them, refusing to let anyone harm Ciel. As the pantheon drew closer, Omega drew his saber and knew that it was at least polite to warn it, "… Your not hurting Ciel… Or this little boy, so turn back and leave them alone…" The small boy seemed to recognize the drone after a moment, and hugged Ciel's leg a bit as he nervously whispered to them, "That's the one who kept me from getting back to mommy…" Ciel and the small boy were very scared when the pantheon fired a shot, but they were relieved, especially Ciel, when Omega had slashed the shot in half as he dashed towards the pantheon and destroyed it. Omega turned back to them and said, "Then let's go find her…" The small boy, still clinging to Ciel, cheered in joy as Omega walked back towards them and turned to Ciel.
"Ciel…" Omega shy spoke, "Do you want me to carry you? … So your feet won't hurt if we have to walk a long way…" Ciel's face flushed a bright red again, wanting to accept but thought of the little boy who was clinging to her. She finally replied, "No, it's fine, Omega… I'll walk for a bit, at least." She then looked at the little boy and said, "Oh! We haven't asked your name yet…!" The little boy smiled as he replied, "My name is Elliot!" Omega holstered his saber and decided it would be nice to give him a more formal introduction, "Mine's Omega… Nice to meet you…" The boy seemed happy as they started to walk, with Ciel turning to Elliot, "Well, let's go find your mother. What's her name?" Elliot paused for a moment to remember, since he was used to calling her "mommy", but giggled, "Her name is Sky!" Upon hearing the name, Omega was left thinking for a moment, remembering the name.
"I think we know her, Ciel…" Omega quietly spoke, "She was one of the ones who helped you find me…" He decided to keep the fact that his own encounter with her led to them fighting, and watched Ciel ponder for a moment, and finally replied, "I think so, too, Omega… Well, I guess we're returning the favor, if we were to think of it that way." Omega nodded and shyly walked close to Ciel, who happily went closer to him as well but letting Elliot hold her right hand while they walked. After awhile, Omega had pulled out a pink crystal that had a lovely glow to it, keeping quiet as he used his saber to carve the beautiful stone. While Ciel wasn't paying attention to that, Elliot had been watching curiously until Omega eventually put the stone away and turned to Ciel, "… Ciel, do you want me to take a quick look on top of that building? We could get a better view from there…" Ciel nodded, "Might as well…" Omega nodded and then gently picked her up in his arms and jumped up to the top of the building he had pointed out, and then went back down to get Elliot, who apparently liked heights. The three looked around for awhile, and Ciel spotted someone in the distance who's movements indicated they were searching for something, and turned to Elliot, "Is that her?" Omega turned and went at Ciel's side to look, "Do you want me to go check? It won't take long…" Ciel turned to him and nodded, "Yes, please…" Omega paused for a moment, and smiled at her, "… You don't have to say "please" when asking something of me, Ciel… I love you and I'm forever yours." Omega's words warmed her heart and she blushed while nodding, "Thank you, Omega…" Omega held her in his arms for a moment and gently kissed her forehead, and whispered to her, "… Please stay safe while I'm gone…" He then jumped off the building, onto another rooftop and dashed off towards the person Ciel had spotted. The person they had spotted was a young reploid woman who was wearing a black and green outfit and had long blue hair. She sensed movement and looked in the general direction Omega was coming from, but couldn't see him yet. Omega had stopped at the roof of the building next to her, and recognized her.
"… Hello, Sky…" He spoke while jumping down. Sky, who was still looking for Elliot and not looking directly at him, replied, "… Hello, Omega. What brings you here?" Omega paused for a moment, contemplating on how this could end, but finally replied, "… Actually, I'm looking for you…" Omega's words caused Sky to stop looking and turned to face him, a bit surprised and ever so curious, "… What for?"
"Because your kid's looking for you…" Omega quickly replied, " ... And based off the other one he resembles, I'm guessing Harp's the father, right?" Omega smirked, remembering how surprised everyone in the base was when they heard that Harpuia was not only married at this point, but a father. Sky blushed a bit, knowing he was right, "… Perhaps. Where's Elliot?" Omega simply pointed towards the building where Ciel and Elliot were on, "On the top of that building over there… Don't worry; Ciel's looking after him…" Sky thought for a moment, but finally turned to him, "… Alright…" and started to walk briskly towards the building.
"… I'll catch up with you…" Omega said as Sky passed him, "… I have something else to do…" and dashed off. Sky nodded and continued towards the building, finding herself running, desperately wanting to know that Elliot was okay. Elliot, still clinging onto Ciel, spotted Sky, "Mommy!!!" and ran to her, hugging her tightly. Sky, who was crying out of worry, hugged Elliot, "Oh, you worried me!" Ciel smiled at them, happy to see the both happy. She suddenly heard Omega's voice, "… Ciel?" She turned to face him, "Omega?" When she finished turning around, she was shocked to see that he had a bouquet of beautiful flowers and a box of chocolates. Omega smiled, "For you, Ciel…" Ciel found herself blushing uncontrollably, and happily accepted them, "Thank you, Omega…" She leaned forward and kissed him, who blushed and kissed her back. While the two were kissing, Sky had finished lecturing Elliot, who was clinging to her, "… Sorry, mommy…" Sky smiled at him and turned to Omega and Ciel, who were holding each other close and listening to them, "… Thank you." Omega nodded, "Your welcome… But you don't have to thank me… I'm sure Ciel would've done it just as well without me…" Ciel blushed even more, "I don't know about that, Omega…" Sky smiled in amusement, nodding as Omega replied, "I am, Ciel… You’re an angel… You can do anything you set your mind to. That's a fact…" Ciel blushed as Omega turned to Sky and continued, "… Do you need anything more, Sky?" Elliot, who looked like he was thinking really hard about something, turned to Sky, "Mommy, can we get a pet kitten?!" Sky sighed in response, "You'll have to ask your father about that one…" She then turned to Omega and Ciel, "No, I think we're good, Omega. Thanks." Ciel smiled, knowing that everything was set right as Omega turned to her, "Okay, and you, Ciel? Do you need anything? I'll do anything and everything for you; you just have to ask me." Ciel smiled, putting her arms around Omega's neck while still holding the flowers and the box of chocolates he had gotten her, "No, I think I'm fine, Omega" She was still blushing intensely as Omega smiled at her, "Okay", and when he started to nod off a little, he quickly spoke, "I'm sorry, just a little tired…" and shrugged. Ciel giggled a little, "Well, then, it's time we returned to the Resistance and got some rest." Omega nodded, "Right," and turned to Sky and Elliot, "Bye, Sky, Elliot." Elliot smiled happily while waving, "Buh-bye!" while Sky waved, and picked Elliot up and the two started walking towards their original destination. Omega then picked Ciel up in his arms, keeping her close, but not without being gentle.
"… Are you ready to go, Ciel?" Omega said, smiling down on her. Ciel nodded, "Yes" and Omega jumped down from the building and started walking along the street towards the Resistance base, looking a little confused. Before Ciel could ask, he turned to her again, "Ciel, I have a question…" Ciel was wondering what was on Omega's mind, "Hm?" Omega seemed like he was going to ask a ridiculous question, but finally spoke, "… Why are we still called the Resistance? I mean… Neo Arcadia, the threat of my father, and all of the other threats in the world are gone now… So, what are we resisting against?" Ciel was shocked; it was a question that left someone even as smart as her thinking, "Hm… That's a good question…" Ciel was starting to get a better answer, "However, memories seem to keep the original name there… Perhaps we're resisting against upcoming threats? I'm not sure myself, Omega…" Omega nodded, and they continued walking towards the Resistance base, with Ciel happily holding onto him, and they saw Zero, with his fiancée, Iris Throne, asleep in his arms. There was a cast on his chest from Omega attacking him after being taunted for awhile.
"Hey, Omega!" Zero angrily shouted at him, "You have a lot of nerve to come back after randomly attacking me like that just because you're jealous!" Omega simply stared at him, knowing he was right, and held Ciel a bit closer in his arms to comfort himself as Zero looked like he was going to attack, but sighed, "… Whatever…" and walked off, still holding Iris. Omega and Ciel were still for awhile, neither of them speaking. Their silence was broken when Omega sighed, obviously saddened by what happened, "… I feel bad about hitting him now…" Ciel, trying to think of what to say, quietly replied, "… Don't worry about it too much…" Omega nodded and carried her into her room, resting her down on her bed. He looked at the clock and turned to her, "I suppose you'd want me to leave you alone while you change then… It is about that time anyway… Do you want me to do anything for you?" Ciel paused for a moment, thinking for awhile, and then smiled, "Some water would be fine…" Omega nodded, "Alright…" and walked out. Ciel stood up and made the door was closed, and then changed into a pink nightgown while Omega was out. She sat on her bed and found herself waiting for Omega rather than doing anything else, and when she heard a knock on the door, she was more than eager to open it.
"Here you go, Ciel…" Omega said, smiling as he offered her a cup of water. Ciel accepted it and took a sip of it, "Thank you, Omega." Omega smiled and picked her up in his arms, "Anything for you, Ciel…" He laid her down on her bed and tucked her in as she continued drinking the water, causing Ciel to blush intensely again, smiling happily as she finished the cup of water. Omega gently took the cup of her hands when she was finished and ran his hand through her hair for a moment, and then leaned towards her and kissed her on the cheek, causing her to blush even more. He smiled, "I'll leave you to rest for the night now… Do you want me to prepare breakfast for you tomorrow?" Ciel, obviously surprised by the offer and still blushing, spoke, "That would be lovely…" Omega nodded, "Alright, what would you like?" Ciel found herself thinking again, not wanting to say anything that might sound too complex or selfish, and finally replied, "Whatever you feel like fixing will be fine." Omega tilted his head, wondering if she was really sure or not, "Are you sure? … I don't want to do anything that'll disappoint you…" Ciel giggled, "I'm sure, Omega…" Omega stared at her, searching for the real answer in her eyes, but gave up, "Okay… Sweet dreams, my beautiful angel…" He then leaned towards her and gave her a loving kiss on the forehead and made sure she was tucked in. Ciel smiled and fell asleep, leaving Omega there to stroke the content scientist's hair, watching over her. As Ciel smiled happily in her sleep, Omega eventually walked out, making sure she'll be safe before leaving.

The next day, Omega was walking through the hallways. As he said, he had made Ciel breakfast for her, walking towards her room with a tray that had waffles, a couple of bananas, and a cup of orange juice.
"… I hope she'll like this…" He said to himself, hoping he doesn't do anything to upset her, and went into her room. He smiled at the sleeping scientist, who still looked as content as ever, and started setting things up so that she can have her breakfast in bed when she woke up. After a minute, her alarm clock started beeping and Ciel slowly woke up, turning it off and yawned. She saw Omega and smiled, "Good morning, Omega…" Omega was still preparing breakfast for her, but smiled back at her, "Good morning, Ciel…" Ciel watched him prepare breakfast, surprised that Omega had taken things further than she expected, and asked, "How are you today?" Omega was still preparing her breakfast, but replied, "I'm feeling okay, but more importantly, what about you? Are you feeling okay?" He was cutting her waffles for her into smaller pieces and poured syrup on them. Ciel smiled at him again, "I'm feeling fine…"
"And that's what truly matters to me…" Omega said, and smiled playfully at her, "Do you want me to feed you like a baby? I wouldn't mind that…" The question caused Ciel to blush, and smiled back, "I wouldn't mind that, either…" Omega nodded, getting the fork and put some waffles on it, and then offered it to her, "Alright… I hope you like them… I made the m especially for you…" Ciel smiled and leaned forward, eating the waffles off the fork. When she finished the bite, she replied, "They're delicious!" causing Omega to smile back, "Thank you… Your opinion means everything to me… Do you need anything more?" Ciel pretended to think, but then said, "… No, because your all I need." As she smiled at him, he blushed and sat down next to her, cuddling against her and got the cup of orange juice for her when she seemed thirsty after awhile. Ciel smiled, cuddling closer to Omega as she continued eating, and Omega took the dishes when she was done, "I'll go take care of these dishes, okay?" Ciel nodded, and Omega walked out. She sighed happily, feeling truly loved.
"Hi, again, Ciel…" Omega said, walking back in after a half hour. Ciel was happy to see that he was back and quickly replied, "Hello again, Omega…" Omega went back to her side, cuddling close to her and ran his hand through her hair again, "… You know… I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused you for the past 9 years… when you were looking for me…" Ciel sighed, remembering some of the memories back then, "It's alright, Omega…" and Omega sighed, "… No, it isn't… You had to go through so much un-needed pain… And you already had so many other troubles before then, before we met… I shouldn't have left… I… was just in so much pain from losing you…" Ciel slowly nodded, hoping to find the right words to keep those memories off his mind, "I can understand, Omega… Don't be too hard on yourself…" Omega was left thinking for a moment, but sighed and cuddled against her lovingly, "… Okay… Just remember that no matter what happens, you mean everything to me." Ciel smiled, holding tightly onto him, "… And the same goes for you…" Ciel's remark had caused Omega to blush intensely, and he hesitated, but finally spoke, "… I'll never be worthy of meaning so much to you… Do you need anything else? Anything at all…" Ciel paused at what he first said and after awhile spoke, "No… You're more than worthy of meaning so much to me, Omega…" Omega was left with no more words to say of that, but leaned towards her and kissed Ciel lovingly, who kissed him back as they relaxed.
"Now then," Omega spoke to her, keeping her close, "Do you need anything?" Ciel shook her head, "Nope". Omega paused, keeping her a bit closer and cuddling her a bit, but whispered into her ear, "Okay… but just remember, you can ask anything of me… No matter what it is, I'll do whatever you ask and I'll get whatever you need… I promise on every fiber of my being…" When he finished, he gently ran his hand through her hair to relax both of them, while Ciel nodded, blushing uncontrollably. The two cuddled against each other for a few hours, simply enjoying each other's company until they knew that everyone else was up, and Omega found himself thinking about an old, almost distant memory he had.
"… You know…" Omega finally said, "There was something I never told you before… I actually saw you when we were much younger, before the New Maverick Hunters were assembled…" Ciel looked at him in blank surprise, "Oh?" She stared curiously as Omega continued, "… It was when I was eleven… So it was when you were eight, obviously… You were in Alia's care back then, if I remember correctly." Ciel nodded, remembering those times where she was abused by her sister and her peers, and Alia was the only comfort she had in her childhood. She was the closet thing she had to a mother. Her thoughts were interrupted when Omega continued, "… My father… He thought I wasn't strong enough to be trained at the time… So he had me beaten and left me for dead in Neo Arcadia so I could get stronger…" Omega sighed, "… I was on my own for awhile…" Ciel imagined how terrible that could have been, and was now curious, "What happened after that?" Omega paused, trying to remember the distant memories in a vivid manner, and continued, "… One night, I wandered into the government district… And I eventually saw you on a balcony of the DNA research building… You looked so sad… I really wanted to go to you, to care for you… to make you happy…" Ciel couldn't help but smile a little, even back then, he cared for her. She listened carefully, hoping Omega would continue, "… I would've watched over you all night…" Omega continued, "… But then… I saw a squad of pantheons getting ready to scale the wall… At first I thought it was just a drill, but then I remembered seeing a training facility on the other side of the district… I wondered what they were doing and after hearing about the copy of X you had created two years before then… I… I just knew that they were going after you… to hurt you… even if nobody knew that you created him." Ciel smiled encouragingly, wanting to hear a story of him coming to her rescue, "… I went up the wall to stop them, and managed to… But… I lost my balance and fell off…" Ciel was left in shock, wondering what that would've been like, "… How hurt were you?" Ciel asked, with a look of concern. Omega paused, but finally replied, "… I broke one of my legs and one of my arms were hurt badly… I couldn't remember which because it was so long ago, and going on stand-by mode made it harder to remember anything…" Ciel nodded, understanding the reasons as Omega finished, "… It started raining as I limped off to find shelter… When I had finally found a place to rest, I realized I wasn't able to move afterwards until I was fully healed… But… I felt happy… That I could care for you… But at the same time, I felt so bad… because I felt like I wouldn't be able to heal, and that I wouldn't be anymore of use to you…" Omega sighed, obviously sad about what happened. Ciel paused, and kissed him, "Always being such a negative thinker…" Omega paused, somewhat hurt from the response, but finally said, "… I guess I am… It's just hard for me to stay positive after all that has happened… But… I feel so happy deep down, now that I'm at your side…" Ciel thought for a moment, blushing intensely, and smiled, "… I'm glad you're with me, Omega…" Omega blushed just as intensely and finally decided to ask, "… Well, is there any work for today?" Ciel paused, thinking hard about it, and finally said, "Unless there is anything on the board, I don't think there is…" Omega smiled at her, "… I wouldn't mind spending a whole day to take care of you…" Ciel's entire face turned red from blushing so much, and Omega laughed a little in response, stroking her hair, "… It's true…" The two returned to cuddle against each other, and after awhile Omega had gotten the beautiful pink crystal out again and started carving it again. Ciel looked at it curiously, and the two exchanged glances, Omega easily catching onto Ciel's curiosity, worried that she isn't going to figure out what he was making. He smiled, "… I want it to be a surprise… It's something very special for you… But if you want me to tell you now, I will… I wouldn't lie about it… I could never lie to you about anything…" Ciel was a little shocked that he was able to know what she wanted to know, "If it's supposed to be a surprise, then I can wait…" Omega smiled at her, "… I'm going to go for awhile, since if I keep working on this in front of you, you'd catch on…" Ciel nodded, they both hated him leaving her side, but finally spoke, "Alright…" Omega smiled at her, "I'll get it done as soon as I can… Goodbye, my sweet angel…" He leaned towards her and kissed her on the forehead as she kissed him on the cheek, smiling, "Bye…" She watched Omega smile and walk out.

Hours later, Omega was standing in a hallway near Ciel's room, looking at the ring he had made for her. In addition to the glowing pink crystal that he had spent time carving, he had also put a silver covering in it that had a golden trim, as well as being cut out in the shape of beautiful Japanese symbols that the glow of the pink crystal emit from once the covering was attached. He had been thinking about how Ciel had deep down hurt his feelings a bit with not understanding how he was always in so much pain, dismissing it all as "just being negative", but put aside, happy that Ciel didn't have to feel the suffering to understand it.
"… Well," Omega said to himself, "… Here goes everything…" and started walking towards Ciel's door, putting the ring in his pocket and knocked on Ciel's door very gently when he arrived. He heard the sound of Ciel walking briskly to the door and she opened it, smiling, "Hello, Omega…" Omega, feeling shy and distant over what happened, "… Hi, Ciel…" Ciel tilted her head, "… Is there something wrong?" Omega was shocked to know that she caught onto him, "… No… It's nothing…" Ciel was left thinking, but finally realized something, "Oh! Sorry! Come in, come in…" She went back over to her bed and sat down on it, allowing Omega to come in. She watched him walk in, still seeming more distant than usual, and he said, "… How are you?" Ciel paused, wondering why he was so distant, and said, "I'm fine… Yourself?" Omega sighed, knowing that what he'll say is going to be a lie at the moment, "How I feel doesn't matter to me… As long as you're okay, I am too…" Ciel quietly watched Omega sit down next to her, "… Okay…"
"… I'm sorry…" Omega said after a moment, "… I can't lie to you… Something is wrong…" Ciel wondered what was happening, "… It's okay… What's wrong, then?" Omega sighed, not wanting to trouble Ciel with his own problems, but it was too late to do anything and he finally spoke, "... I've just felt so hurt when you've always declared all of the pain I have to endure everyday as "just being negative"... even though you don't even know how I feel... But... I'm happy... that you can't understand... because you would have had to go through so much pain to... It's terrible, Ciel... Nothing has every made my pain from my memories... my nightmares... and knowing that I'm just a monster... Nothing has ever made any of that go away... Not even you..." Ciel was in shock, she didn't expect anything like this, but did her best to find the words to comfort him, "… Omega… You aren't a monster…" Omega shook his head negatively, denying what she said, "… Ciel… Something happened to me after you died… I can't change what I am now…" Ciel came closer to him, "… No matter what happens, you won't be a monster. You are you and nothing else…" Omega paused for a moment, slightly comforted, but replied, "… You wouldn't be saying that if you saw it…" and sighed.
"… Are you sure about that?" Ciel said, becoming curious of what was happening. Omega was obviously in emotional pain, but finally said, "… I don't know for sure… but… I don't want to find out… I don't want to scare you…" Ciel nodded, and was hoping Omega would be alright, since he was still in emotional pain. Her concern for him was growing quickly, "… Omega?" Before he could reply, Omega suddenly felt little the back of his neck was on fire, he made a slight grunt in pain and grabbed the back of his neck, in intense pain. Ciel, looking extremely worried, asked, "Omega! Are you alright?!" Omega collapsed off Ciel's bed and was on the ground, squirming a bit in pain as he struggled to get through whatever was causing him pain, and struggled to speak, "Ciel… please… run… It's… happening…" Ciel was in shock, and quickly stood up, "O-Omega? What's happening?" She wasn't sure if she should run or stay by Omega's side as he thrashed on the ground to the point where his helmet slipped off in the process. He was in pain to the point where he was almost crying from it feeling like his entire body was on fire, "… Please… run…" Ciel paused, not seeing Omega in such pain before, "Omega… O-Okay, but… please, be alright!" and she ran out of her room, trying not to cry. She turned back after a minute of running down the hallway and saw that Omega was standing again, but she felt a chill of evil energy go down her spine as she walked closer to him, "… Omega?" She walked closer, still worried. Omega was now crying a little, deep down praying for Ciel to not come closer, "… Ciel… please… just run away… I'll leave the base… just… forget about me… It's too late… It's already taken effect… I just wish I could have your comfort one last time… but I don't want to scare you…" He turned a bit to the left, as if he didn't want her to see that side of his body. Ciel was shocked, not wanting for him to leave her, "… Omega, please… I wouldn't forget you. Please, don't leave the base…" Omega was motionless, but finally spoke, "… I want to stay… But… I can't stand the thought of being the cause of you terrified…" Ciel paused, but quietly replied, "… Omega…" He turned a bit to see her better, but still not letting her see his left side as she continued, "Stay… I won't be terrified… I can be braver than you think." Omega was left a bit shocked, considering what to say, "… Do you… Do you promise not to run away if I turned to look at you?" Ciel nodded, and Omega started to turn. She wondered what was wrong, but her thoughts were quickly answered when he finished turning around: There were black markings along the left side of his face, and his left eye was now bright purple instead of the usual ruby red color she loved, and the white in that eye turned dark-grey. Ciel was shocked, not expecting that, but as she promised to, she didn't run away, nor did she look afraid, "… Omega, what are those marks?" Omega paused, but finally answered her, "... After you died, the pain of losing you activated this... It's a measure to how close I am to my new absolute form, which is even more of a monster than the old one... They make me slightly stronger and darker the more they spread... but... I still would do anything for you, despite that..."
"Omega…" Ciel said, taking a step forward with worry shining in her eyes, but not sure whether she should go to him or not, since she doesn't know if he'd want her to. Omega, thinking for a moment, "… Ciel… I was just worried about if you'd think I'm a monster when you see what it makes me look like… It… It's still me… I still love you… There's no need to be afraid of me…" Ciel smiled very sweetly in response and quickly went over to him and hugged him, holding him close, "Oh silly! Appearances don't matter; it's who they really are! I love you for who you are, not what you look like!" Omega was left blushing very dark, and when Ciel gently raised her hand to stroke the marks on his face out of curiosity, he was in slight pain and the markings glowed purple, starting to retract. They retracted to the back of his neck and disappeared.
"… Their… gone…" Omega said, shocked, "Ciel… I… I can't believe their gone, just like that… Thank you so much…!" He hugged her tightly and cuddled her very lovingly, causing Ciel to blush intensely again and she kissed him on the cheek, "You are very, very welcome, Omega…" Omega paused, seeming a little distant, but finally asked, "… There was something I wanted to ask you… but I guess what happened ruined the moment…" Ciel giggled a little, "No, now's fine…" Omega sighed, "… Alright… Well… As you know… I'll do anything and everything for you… and that'll never change…" Ciel nodded, and she watched Omega slowly kneel down in front of her and reached for something in his pocket as he continued, "… This will be the only thing I can ever ask of you, Ciel…" Ciel, who was watching Omega curiously, replied, "… And what would that be?" Omega smiled and presented the ring he had made for her, "… Ciel… would you marry me?" Ciel was left blushing to the point where she couldn't possibly blush anymore, and gasped, "Omega… Yes!" and she glomped him, causing Omega to blush just as much as he gently put the ring on one of her fingers for her, "… I made this ring for you with my own hands… with all the love in my heart… I hope its good enough…" Ciel, still blushing, was quick to respond, "More than good enough!" Omega smiled at her, wrapping his arms around her, "… I'm happy that I can be at your side forever now…" Ciel smiled back, "As am I…" Omega kept her even closer, "… Do you need anything now? Anything at all…" Ciel shock her head negatively, still blushing just as much, "No…" Omega was left thinking for a moment, and said, "Okay… Do you want to do anything special tonight to celebrate our future together? A movie perhaps?" Ciel giggled happily, "I don't see why not." Omega smiled, "Alright… I'll go to whatever one you want to." Ciel giggled, "No, you should pick."
"Come now," Omega said, "I don't want to make the mistake of picking one you might not like… I'll go to whatever movie you'd like, so please choose…" Ciel paused for a moment to think, "Oh fine… Um… How about… Inkheart?" Omega nodded, "Alright, if its what you want to go to. Might as well go get some money and change my clothes... No sense in wearing armor when there won't be any fighting soon... I'm really happy that we were able to bring peace back to the world, at least on the most part..." Ciel nodded happily, and before Omega walked away, he came to think about something, "… Ciel… you know… I never told you what I had been trying to do those 9 years we were apart…" Ciel was left to think for a moment, "… That's true… What did you do?" Omega turned and smiled at her, "... I was trying to bring peace to the world, at least to those who I can find that needed help... for us... It was the dream we both shared... But I did it especially for you... You've always scarified so much so there would be peace... so I was determined to make your dream come true... it was the only way I had left to show how much I love you... when you weren't there at the time..." Ciel sighed happily, "Oh, Omega…" She felt so loved upon hearing that as Omega continued, walking back towards her, "… Ciel, you don't have to consider it a dream anymore… Because I promise that we will make it reality… Together…" He wrapped his arms around her and gently kissed her forehead, cuddling her, as Ciel rested her head gently on his chest, obviously content, "I know…" Omega smiled at her, "I'll be back…" As Omega walked off, Ciel happily looked at her wedding ring, entranced by the beautiful pink glow of it and felt so special since Omega had chosen to make a ring for her instead of buying one. Omega came back after awhile and picked her up in his arms, cradling her like an infant as he kept her close, with Ciel holding onto him as the couple left the base, ready to enjoy the rest of their day together.
