- - - actually, no, they haven't, but hey, the title fit the picture, and I like plenty a westerns (Big Country, Magnificent Seven, True Grit etc.), so I'd say "Several of my heroes have been cowboys", just to clarify. heh.
Well, this is an original character, meshing my appreciation of the classic cowboy with some slight fantasy elements ( most of this pertains to stuff I'm seeing in my head as an associated story with the character, and not what's on paper so much . . .).
For example, his one blue eye and one black eye, made such by the scar. His bracers and even his gun were supposed to indicate some fantasical elements as well. I named him a nice cowboy-ey name of Garett Foster, slapped some chaps on 'im and sent him on his vengeful way.
This pic took about 15-20 long, agonizing hours. I rushed the background because I'm a lazy slob.

BRILLIANT. Great job with the details (wrinkles, textures, various doodads etc.). Lighting looks gewd, too. ^^ And the little color accents look so snazzeh.
