We were given 40 minutes for this piece and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Mostly I'm surprised with the cast shadow from the left arm, usually I'm no good at those! Again, I'm avoiding the facial features because I'm more interested in laying the form down and rendering volume.

This is really good :) And it's rare to see people actually include the... *ahem* unmentionables. Even I, to my shame, try to leave them out as long as possible, or 'crop the pose' so that I don't have to deal with them, and focus on the face to make up for it. :P
This is some of the best life drawing I've seen lately, your understanding of shading is really good. Well done :) (would be nice to see some features, but thats just me, I like portraits, but I understand the whole form and volume first thing)
