Zodiac (Chinese): Dog
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 94 lbs.

Hair: Varies as she often dyes it

Distinguishing Marks: Torii’s most distinguishing feature is the beauty mark on her right cheek. She also often paints purple marks on her skin and dyes her hair different colors and often wears it in pigtails, braids, or both; though sometimes she'll jut wear it in spiky flower-like fashions as well. She is also well-known for her beautiful amethyst eyes which strike fear into the hearts of those who have faced her and survived.

Description: Medium in height and petite. She often wears torn, ragged and revealing cloths that are stitched together via thin stands of thread. Though she will occasionally wear 'normal' cloths, it's not too common to see her wearing something that isn't at least a little revealing. She also sometimes wears glasses as she's seemingly developed a slight vision problem. She is never without one of ring blades- all of which have tasted the blood of countless enemies. She is almost always accompanied by a flock of ravens which are lead by her pet raven, Teufel. In her dragon form which she obtained from long exposure to Draco's blood, Torii is bird-like dragon that stands around sixty feet tall, has a teal mane and feathers, vibrant green and violet scales, and piercing amethyst eyes.

PERSONALITY

Overview: Torii suffers from bipolar disorder, and has two split personalities. One moment she can be happy and random and the next she can be manic and murderous (this also applies to her dragon form). She has no problem killing anyone that crosses her or her family and despite her limits, she will fight without fear.

Traits: Since Torii was infected by the Evil Seed, she is not completely human and has been referred to as a monster by many of her enemies. However, she is bound by her human limits, but since she has immortality, they rarely get in her way. Through years of being with Draco, it seems Torii has gained some other inhuman traits, from long exposure to his inhuman blood, but the depth of this power is not yet known other than the fact she can assume a dragon form like any other Ryugami.

Phobias: Her only know phobia seeing the death of someone she holds dear.
Favorite Colors: Black, purple, green, red, and gold.
Favorite Scents: The smell of blood.
Favorite Foods: Bread, cake, fish, fruit, various berries, and certain insects.
Other Favorites: Ring blades, birds, sewing, and being tickled...

Strengths: Being immoral is Torii’s key strength, but she is a skilled assassin that possesses lethal speed and cat-like reflexes. Sine she was trained from childhood, she’s very experienced. She can even easily pick up the sound of a kunai flying through the air. During the time she was possessed by Soul Edg, Torii took on a demonic form clad in black armor which was later known as Adelind when the Dragonians were formed. As Adelind, she has powers similar to that of Night Dragon such as regeneration and the power to control evils. Torii has also contracted some strange powers such as Koori Arul (Preservation of Ice) and the ability to turn into a dragon due to long-term exposure to Draco’s blood. It also seems Torii's dragon form is much different than the usual Ryugami's in both looks and the fact she ha some unique powers such as poison tipped claws.

Weaknesses: Although she is skilled at the art of combat has problems controlling the powers she’s obtained from long-term exposure to Ryugami blood. The fact that she cannot fully control these powers means they can sometimes be more of a burden than a blessing. Like any Ryugami, she is weak against Ryugami magic and specialized dragon-slaying weaponry. Her dragon form also suffers from the random mood swings caused by her bipolar disorder which makes her have difficulty flying in a straight line and sometimes can make her revert back into human form in midair. Torii is also extremely ticklish which is a weakness Draco often exploits when they 'play'.

BACKGROUND

First Kiss: Mia Warui
First Love: Mia Warui

Extras: Torii is known for her randomness and overall psychotic personality, but at heart, Torii does love her family and is a good wife and mother. Since she was raised to believe she was nothing more than a mere tool, she will not hesitate to put herself in harms way to save one of her loved ones. However, she hates showing herself as soft and often give her family ‘tough love’ by yelling at them for putting themselves in dangerous situations (this especially applies to Draga). While Torii does enjoy ending the lives her enemies, she is plagued with the memories of the innocents she has killed and seeks to atone for it by fighting for the greater good her husband, Draco Faust Williams stands for. She also gained an evil alter-ego known as Adelind by being infused with Soul Edge and Night Dragons powers which made her one of the legendary apocalyptic knights as well. It also should be noted her two split-personalities have preferences to the Ryugami powers she uses. Her 'jolly' side seems to prefer her dragon form while her 'gloomy' side prefers Koori Arul.

Story: Torii was born into an underground organization known as the Bird of Passage. Since she was old enough to walk, she was trained in the arts of killing, but it never dawned on her that she had been stripped of her real name (She was known only as Tira), personality, freedom, family and choice for her future. Although she knew she had a brother, Trace; the two never got along well and she had no idea who her parents were much less that she had a sister who had been adopted out of the Bird of Passage.

She grew accustomed to taking the lives of others without feeling anything, and grew to the point where killing became an addiction, committing such actions on a regular basis for the stimulation it provided. As time progressed, she met a girl by the name of Mia Warui who was a fellow assassin in the group. The two form a friendship which eventually sparked into romance. For the first time in her life, Torii had found happiness, but it was short lived, however. During a mission, Mia was killed right before Torii’s eyes. Torii swore to avenge Mia by hunting down and killing all of the group that had taken Mia away from her- she succeeded, then returned to the Bird of Passage.

Eventually, she became free from the Bird of Passage after the leader's mind was burnt by the Evil Seed raining down while Torii was in the middle of a mission. With the chain of command now collapsed, Torii departed from the underground to roam the outside world with freedom. Torii continued her newfound life, taken in by an ordinary family in a quiet city amongst normal people, and although she still felt the slight urge to bring death to others, she managed to keep it contained, deciding that ordinary life was "okay". However, this peaceful lifestyle would not last for her dormant killing desire was triggered when she was scolded for releasing the pet bird of the family's child from its cage, giving no clear reason why, and was soon standing before the corpses of her now-former "family" before she realized what had happened.

Torii figured that she cannot live without inflicting death and, during her aimless wandering, she found out about the massacres of Nightmare and began to track him, finding something of a kindred spirit in the Azure Knight. She reached Ostrheinsburg, where she met a man wielding a scythe, who informed her that she in fact sought the wicked sword, Soul Edge, and that Nightmare was just a puppet. Upon hearing the revelation, she was disappointed for a short time but rejoiced at the news of Nightmare's reappearance. She finally found Nightmare after following trails of slaughters, and pledged herself entirely as faithful servant to the evil sword.

Fate had more in store for Torii though. While she was searching for Soul Edge’s new host, she met a young knight nearly the same age as her. He would later be confirmed to be the perfect host for Soul Edge and since his blood was already corrupted, Torii was easily able to deceive him into thinking she was his friend, but after traveling together for some time, Torii began to find feelings for Draco- the same kind of feelings she had for Mia and these would get greater when she saw how dedicated Draco was to her. No matter what the circumstance, Draco wouldn’t stop, he was always there when she needed him, and he would die to protect her...

Once the two did track down Soul Edge, Draco became enslaved by it and attacked everyone in his way including Torii, but before his new form, Night Dragon dealt her a death blow, Torii muttered a simple sentence. “Draco, I love you...” The cursed knight lower his weapon and eventually this caused Draco to overcome Soul Edge and contain it’s power.

Shortly after Draco took the sword under his control, Torii and Draco would marry, settle down in Ostrheinsburg Castle, and have two children, Draga and Tela. Torii had finally found happiness in her life by becoming a member of a group of mercenaries called the White Dragons which was led by Draco. She was free to be herself and was accepted by Draco and the others for the who she was.

There are as many tales of the Williams family as there are Soul Edge itself, but one thing is for sure- Draco and Torii died about fifteen years after Draco took complete control of Soul Edge using it as a tool for peace. Several years after when the evil sword returned to reek terror upon the world once more, Draco and Tira were brought back to the world of the living to face the sword one more time. Records of these events are blurry, but it is said that Draco was able to merge Soul Edge and Soul Calibur into their true form, the Soul Release which he and Torii used to banish the demonic spirit that had inhabited the sword. It is said the event of this battle somehow endowed Draco and Torii's family with with the gift of immortality and eternal youth. Afterwards, the Soul Release faded away.

After Soul Edge was vanished, Torii and Draco hoped to live in peace- only fighting when it was unavoidable, but this peace would be short lived. Eventually, both Torii and Draco were asked to join the Dread Warriors (who are lead by her now revived best friend/first love, Mia Warui). Seeking some action, the two readily agreed and joined the Dread Warrior's cause. During the time she was working on missions with the Dread Warriors, Torii would learn more about her past. For instance, she learned of the history of bloodshed between the Bird of Passage and the Manji Clan. She also learned more about her family history and that her name was not really Tira, but indeed Torii. Despite learning that Tira was just a code name, she decided she'd just go by both names since she'd grown accustomed to being called Tira- she then dubbed herself Torii "Tira" Williams.

Not too long after, Torii found herself in the middle of yet another conflicts the Dread Warriors discovered that the cult they had been hunting for the last few months was planning to release something ancient and evil. At one point, Torii was captured by the cult during an assassination mission she, Mia, and Tsukasa had set out on. When the camp's leader discovered they had captured the wife of Draco Faust Williams, he ordered Torii to be executed immediately, but they failed when the artifact they attempted to execute her with unleashed her hidden Ryugami powers she'd obtained from long exposure to Draco's blood. During the time of Torii's torture; however, Andrafelauth had invaded her mind and Torii saw that he was indeed a much greater threat than Soul Edge ever had been. From that point on, Torii worked close with the Dread Warriors hoping to stop Andrafelauth's resurrection. At first it seemed they had succeeded when Draco cast Andrafelauth's sealed prison into an abyss deep within the Himalayas, but even so, the evil Ryugami would be freed by his minions several years later.

During the calamity of Andrafelauth’s revival, Draco was transformed back into Night Dragon by Black Thunder's evil aura. Though Draco wasn't completely overcome by his inner darkness, he was indeed blinded. He began to believe the only way to defeat Andrafelauth would be to somehow revive Soul Edge. To do this, he enlisted the aid of the Dread Warriors (including Torii) by infusing them with his power turning them into dark knights as well. Despite her doubts, Torii followed her husband's orders seeing it was the only way to stop Andrafelauth. Torii aided Night Dragon's attempts to restore Soul Edge, but in the end, Draco saw his error during a battle with Tela who had been brainwashed. During the battle, he overcame his inner darkness to save Tela and returned to normal as did Torii and the other Dread Warriors.

Torii continued to aid Draco through the whole ordeal and was present at the final battle between Draco and Andrafelauth at the ancient Ryugami Cathedral. At the beginning of the battle, Torii was aiding her allies in battle against Andrafelauth's forces, but she did make it into the Cathedral near the battle's end. There she witnessed her husbands true power as he merged with the Soul Release and Ryutenshin which unleashed the power of Bahamut Miaboreas within his heart. Torii watched with a smile on her face as Draco defeated Andrafelauth once and for all.

After the battle ended, Torii was also transformed into a Miaboreas and gained extraordinary power. The Ryugami offered both Draco and Torii their rightful places on the Ryugami throne, but both declined to return to their lives and Ostrheinsburg.

Torii remains by Draco’s side to this very day. The two will live on forever and continue to watch over the ever changing world as the ages go by.

WEAPONS

Ring Blades:

Ouroboros (1p) - A ring blade Draco forged for Torii after they were revived. As the name suggest it is shaped like a serpent eating it's own tail which is a sacred symbol to the Ryugami. It was later augmented with the jewels of Ouroboros which endow it with the power of light, darkness, fire, ice, and lighting. After much rigorous training to control it's great power, Torii mastered it it's power. After Torii became a Miaboreas and was infused with Ryutenshin powers, she is able transform it into Ryutenshin at will. Since it has become like a part of her very being, it remains as Torii's weapon of choice.

Ouroboros (2p) - A ring blade Draco forged for Torii after they were revived.

Eiserne Drossel - Torii's first ring blade which she had wielded since a young age. It was once broken, but was later restored by Draco as an anniversary gift to Torii. This is also the very weapon Torii used to spill the blood of her adopted family.

Bifrost - A beautiful ring blade once wielded by Torii's brother, Trace. It bears a resemblance to stained glass and has swan-shaped edges for blades. It is not only a good weapon for attacking, but is also great on the defensive.

Ixion - A ring blade that belonged to Mia Warui when she was in the Bird of Passage. After Mia's 'demise', Torii kept it as a means to honor Mia's memory. It seems to increase it's wielder's will to fight and gradually restore their stamina as well.

Ixion II - A ring blade given to Torii by Draco while he was possessed by Soul Edge. From that point on, it was Torii's preferred weapon. Since it was forged from Night Dragon/Draco's very being using the cursed power of Soul Edge, it gave Torii a spiritual bond to Draco. After Torii's 'death', it was melded with Draco's Faust to form Tela's Alondite, but it would later come back into Torii's possession when it was expelled from Alondite. By this time it paled in comparison to Ouroboros, but nevertheless, Torii was glad to have her most familiar weapon back.

Viamana - A gift Torii received from Mia after joining the Dread Warriors. It is an odd weapon even for a ring blade which leaves reason to believe it was made by Drows. Endowed with six sharp blades along it's ring frame, this weapon is well suited for parrying.

Circular Sword - A silver and amethyst ring blade of unknown origin. Torii found it one day while wandering in the ruins of the underground Labyrinth with Draco. The grooves behind each edge make this weapon very easy to wield.

Setting Sun - A greatly sought after weapon which was forged using a fragment of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Despite being forged from a fragment of Soul Edge, this legendary blade doesn't seem to have demonic attribute, but it does indeed possess great power. For Torii, it's only weakness comes from the fact that it's power is determined by the wielder's will. If the wielder is fighting for something they hold dear, the weapons power is doubled tenfold, but if they're fighting due to blood lust, the weapons power seems to suffer.

Shiva's Ring - Ouroboros takes on this form when Torii uses her Koori Arul ability. It is the polar opposite to Draco's Dragon Edge and like Dragon Edge it is composed of adamantine and dragon claw, but is endowed with the Koori Arul's power of ice instead of Katon Arul's power of fire. A single blow will leave most enemies frozen solid. Once Torii returns to normal, it transforms back into Ouroboros and only assumes this form when she wills it to.

Soul Edge - The legendary blade that consumes the souls of men. Although it was usually wielder by Draco, Torii took up the blade during a battle when it was thought Draco had been slain. After taking up the evil sword, Torii almost ended up being consumed by the sword's evil, but was saved by Draco. A perfect clone of it later came into Torii's possession when Draco (as Night Dragon) created the Dragonians, but this time Torii was able to control it's demonic powers almost flawlessly.

Soul Calibur - The spirit sword that had battle with Soul Edge countless times unbeknownst to man. Torii found she'd changed enough to be able to wield it when Draco was in coma, but Torii eventually found her inner darkness could taint the sword- turning it back into a half of Soul Edge, but for the short time she wielded it, Torii kept it in check and used it as a means to avenge Draco until he returned.

Ryutenshin - A shape-shifting sword that appears in Ryugami legends and folklore. It gives it's wielder the power to rule both the natural and spiritual realms, but it's also said to be nothing more than a sheer myth...

Hula Hoop - A child's toy that Torii discovered in modern times. The peculiar item reminded her of a ring blade and found it amusing, so she began to practice hula-hooping when she and Draco decided to enjoy these peaceful times at the beach. Though it's not really a weapon, Torii is able to fend off an attacker with it if need be. The ridiculous sight of someone wielding it in battle could lead the opponent to let their guard down.

CRITICAL FINISH

The Kiss of Death - Torii will first stun her opponent by slashing them with her ring blade, then she'll pounce them, and kiss them on the lips. This may seem like an odd tactic at first glance, but the victim will succumb to death soon after the kiss; reason being that Torii lines her lips with a special poisonous lipstick. Though it is quite toxic, the lipstick does not seem to effect Torii herself or her husband, Draco at all.

COSTUMES

1p: Midnight Assassin - Since being with Draco, Torii often wears this attire which is actually a duplicate of her old costume, but in black and violet instead of it's original colors. It consists of a revealing and tattered black cloths that are decorated with violet feathers and stitches. She'll also either wear gloves or gauntlets and sometimes articles of leather to go along with it.

2p: Dread Warrior - Torii wears this attire when she's working with the Dread Warriors. This attire usually consists of revealing and tattered sewed together jester-like cloths that are black and dark purple. Together the colors not only match Torii's chaotic personality, but also allow her to move stealthily through the darkness without risk of being detected.

STAGE

Ostrheinsburg Castle Throne Room - The impregnable fortress that is Ostrheinsburg has went through several lords of the ages. It and it's throne were originally the property of a knight named Sir Stephan, but the castle eventually fell to war. After losing its first lord and falling into ruin, the castle was occupied by a terrible master known as the Azure Knight. After acting as Nightmare's base for several years, it was surrounded by an evil aura that even wild beasts avoided.

After Nightmare fell, the castle gained a new lord, Draco Faust Williams. Despite it being broken and scarred, the castle was ultimately restored by the Williams family. It fell under several attacks thereafter; one of which left in ruin once again, but the Williams family always made sure it was always restored and kept in good condition. The castle now emits a powerful aura of unknown intent and to this very day, there are not many brave enough to even come near the it.

It's throne room is located in the very center of the castle. It is said anyone that enters the throne room will instantly be overwhelmed by the great power that often resides within. The room glows boldly in candle light as it's immortal lord and his beloved wife occupy the throne and watch over the world for all eternity.

Collab with DesuChan; 'making' Torii was her idea really. I hardly deserve any credit for it other than I wrote up the bio and helped come up with Tira.. era I mean Torii's new designs.

Rating: PG-13

Warnings: Mentions violence/gore and some light sexual themes.

Notes: Basically this is Torii's entire Soul Calibur: Chronicles of The Sword Universe Biography in a nutshell. This Bio was made in accordance with my Chronicles of the Sword Fan-Fic trilogy.

Random Fact: As far as the Soul Calibur Universe goes, this version of Tira's storyline is set in the Chronicles of the Sword Universe and NOT the canon ones from all 5 Soul series games; though aspects of those were added in his storyline as well.
