Scarred

Near the end of Beheld there's a scene where Nolan is holding on to the chain/hook of a crane during a thunderstorm. The crane gets hit by lighting, shocking him and burning his hands very badly. Even after they've healed, the scars are...pretty nasty, and he gets self conscious about it.

But Vic has a sweet side, however abusive she might be with him sometimes.
I think you can tell what her scars are from.

AND NOW YOU SEE WHY HIS NICKNAME IS FRECKLES. WITH DIGITAL ART I CAN FINALLY SHOW THEM TO THEIR PROPER EXTENT BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
