So, this is Grego! (GREG-oh)

Ugh. I hate children.

Anyway, I wrote this a long time ago, but it still applies.

EDIT: Under the date in the lower-right,... that's his full first name (Gregoradeni, GREG-or-ah-DEN-ee) in Garran.

"Roderrez (Denviradi) Verre-Ierku Gregoradeni [roh-DERR-ezz (DEN-veer-AH-dee) VERR-eh ee-ER-koo GREG-or-ah-DEN-ee]

Translated: Of family Roderrez (or Denviradi), Green-Arrowhead the Protector.

Grego is one of my most prominent Garran characters, just below Tgr'ek, his mother.

Tgr'ek, the queen, his mother, had fooled around with her personal servant, Dormnd. Later, Grego was born in secret, and hidden away in Tgrek's castle. After 15 years, and with the help of his father, Dormnd, Grego made his escape... but not before Tgr'ek had a chance to leave her mark on him. In an amazing stroke of luck, he fled the castle with a number of deep cuts, but his life. He ran for days, never looking back, hardly resting at all, until he collapsed, exhausted, neck-deep in gang territory.

He woke up on a rusty metal table in an old warehouse, racked with pain. Looking down, a number of stitches sealed his cuts. Shadowy figures watched him from afar. He passed out again and slept for two days.

Grego was on the brink of death for some time, but he didn't fall over the edge. All thanks were due to the "skills" of one Tdjake Miasurr, who'd had a few years of medical training before joining the gang. Though Grgeo seemed to be more practice than patient to him...

The gang belonged to a hulking half-Tuillen by the name of Rei Gumarro, who'd founded it as a wildie/Tuillen terrorist group... though they didn't do much more than fight other gangs. Rei thought he could use Grego for drug runs if he didn't die. Grego had nowhere else to go... so he joined the gang.

Rei, his cousin Bennon, the "doctor" Tdjake, the weapons dealer Kesjel, the fat man Bemet, the tramp Ve'iki, and the newest recruit, Grego, waltzed the streets with egos as big as all outdoors and all the righteous fury to go with it.

Over the years, Grego grew from a sniveling weakling into a tough, violent, angry young man. Of his friends in the gang, Rei was the best. Grego viewed Rei as some sort of savior, a replacement father-figure, a confidant, and so much more.

Which is why the next tradgedy is his life would be mind-blowing.

Rei, along with Bemet and Tdjake, were killed in the gang's very own personal alley, in a bloody shootout. Grego came to scene of the atrocity a day later... met with the rotting carcasses of some of his best friends.

And so Grego ran again. He ran away from the loss and pain, pushing it down deep into his soul, letting anger rise up instead. He ran and ran util he arrived at the south western coast of Biulas.

He lived as a vagabond for several years, coming into adulthood, avoiding police and again facing death... until a very hopeful turn of fate came upon him.

He met Bennon. Nearly grown and very independent, Bennon had saved up a hoard of his DJing money and bought a nice three-person apartment, paid for by him and an old school-friend by the name of Djeid. After catching up lost time with Grego and seeing the way he lived, Bennon extended an amazing offer.

Grego could live with him and the other garran called Djeid, free of charge.

He graciously accepted, and two headed home.

But it would only be a little while before Grego realized Djeid was someone he would definitely be wanting to meet..."

Right. of course evryone who sees this, if anyone sees it at all, will tl;dr on me. If you read it, and... take the time to comment, I guess, you should totally put this: ** into your post. Yeah. As if, right?
