do you not find when you colour something, you always feel like it always looks sooo much better? I always find that with my own work :3
Personally I thought there wasn't much wrong with the original in all honesty xD Looks cool with the background though, it finishes it off nicely :)

I like the one with the background more. The color and texture there makes it more eerie.
Though I do wish that the texture would translate to the hair. It looks a little out of place when it's all solid and plain like that.
