So, I submitted that last image (about 3h30am) and, for no reason, opened photoshop and sketched loosely. No guidelines, references, thoughts, nothing. Just plain drawing out of whatever the hand feels like doing. The result was kinda this. Interpret as you will.
I doubt this should be here, so I'll move it to scraps tomorrow morning (4h20am here now x.x).

Well, for a loose sketch, I'd say that's pretty good. Everything from the shading to the anatomy is very accurate.
