Well, I felt I really needed to get some practice at good watercolor backgrounds. I also felt like drawing myself a tiger. So, because I know Goldenwolf is an amazing artist, and good with watercolors, I decided to use her picture "The Wind Tree" as reference for this image.
Normally I don't upload practices and reference pictures as so, but I am really proud of this one. I followed Goldenwolf's guidelines for referencing her art for this one, note the copyright at the bottom of the picture. I am definately going to use what I learned with this piece to future original works.
