A Love Poem
Another sucky love poem
by another broken lover.
Another few meaningless words,
read by another poor few eyes.
Uncreative and dead to me,
even as I sat writing it.
So I did the best thing to do:
I crumpled it up, tight and sad.
Then I tore it to pieces,
and at last I threw it away.
Instead, I would write a poem
about writing stupid poems.
