THE GHOSTS

A twisted android race, they were once organic in nature but have evolved into synthetic machine bodies. Although retaining their organic portrait, they are cold hollow echoes of the great empire they were known to control.

Although their history is clouded in mystery, the ghosts are believed to have been at war with themselves in the final days as organics, poluting their planets with toxins to kill one another until nearly all were dead.

In a last finaly desperate attempt to survive what they had done, they found a way to download their minds from the organic bodies they once had into mechanical replacements.

After centuries of perfecting these replacement bodies, they have found themselves locked at the final evolution that could face a machine.

They are attempting to become organic once more, but instead of the original organic deasign, they are working on keeping the repair and salvage systems of the mechanical bodies they now call their own.

Their army is made of millions of drones, battle suits controlled by a single mind that has been dulled to the point it can only do as commanded. It is believed a single mind can control up to 100 battle suits in combat.

Although considered a neutral species due to their inactivity across the entire galaxy, they have slowly begun launching assaults on planets. After every recorded capture, they take all the fresh corpses of our fallen people, and then leave.

It is unknown what they are truly doing, but speculations are to the idea they are using corpses to test research on.

All commanders are to avoid engagement with the Ghosts, if pursued, target enemy engines for a quick retreat. Be advised only our capital ships have ever stood up against the android ships, and they have not come out in good condition.

"I have seen the ghosts of the stars. They are but a hollowed shell of the angels they once were. No one is safe from their grasp, not even the dead..."

~Last journal entry of Colonel Philip Grey~

I have been expanding my ideas on the T.S.F and their possible enemies, and have ended up merging about 3 seperate ideas into one.

This is a small artical about the Android race that has been ironically dubbed "the Ghosts".

All items in this work is copyright of me.
If I find anyone using them, I will take action against you.
