Wow, your art style really changed. Kind up grew up, you know, from cartoon to more realistic. I'm kind of going that way, too. I like both, though. Your style may have changed, but from a few years back, you were still really good! I don't even want to look at my art from three years ago....
I think the one on the right is a definite improvement, but I like the face on the left better- well the eyes more. They're a little more "kawaii" than on the right.
I always follow the classic rule of "Big Eyes, Small Mouth" when drawing anime women.
People have yelled "shiny desu" at me when I say that, but if you watch anime from the 70s until now from JAPAN that is, that's a big rule most Japanese Animation artists generally follow because that's what sells in Japan. There are exceptions of course- Leiji Matsumoto doesn't follow that rule at all, and all of his women look exactly alike in basic form but just the hair colour and outfits change. LOL! (Check out Galaxy Express 999, Queen Emeraldas, Captain Harlock, etc. to see what I mean)
I must confess I like the touch of chibi and the green strip at the top of the boots in the old picture, although your shading has improved by leaps and bounds in the after picture.

both have nice bodies but i think your new one needs a bit more feminine face
They both look really good. I like the realism in the After, but I also really like the toon look of the before.

I like both designs.
I can imagine the first one could be her as a younger teen and she's matured a bit in the second one.
