Just a plot

A Sake’Te’Riah based story.


20 years ago, best friends Colle and Falari decided to sign an agreement that stated that their first born children would marry, to represent their ultimate friendship. The arranged marriage seemed flawless in every way, especially when Colle had a male child. They had known all along that Colle would have a male child, and hoped that Falari would have a girl. Unfortunately, Falari had a boy.
Colle and Falari decided to continue with the arranged marriage, even though both children were male. They didn’t care what the world would think, just that they wanted their friendship to be immortalized.
On account of her job, Falari had to move to another country, but promised she and her son would return to Sake’Te’Riah. Because of this, Nova and Zachiris never got to know one another. While Nova grew up in Sake’Te’Riah, Zachiris grew up in Harzimran. Falari made them move back to Sake’Te’Riah when Zachiris was 16, and Nova 18.
Although Nova was 18, he didn’t know about the marriage until Zachiris was 16 and had moved to Sake’Te’Riah. The first time they ever met each other, they hated one another. Neither cared about who the other was, and didn’t get along.
It seemed a shame to Falari and Colle, who had really hoped that the two of them would get along, but the agreement was to still stand. It was introduced to them only a short week later, to which both were furious.
Nova and Zachiris would only have 2 years to get to know one another before they would be bound together forever. Both fighting to the point Colle got sick and tired of their fighting, and entered them into the forces as a duo. In the hopes that it would work, Falari provided the funding for it all, for them to learn sword work and magic. If they wanted to survive, they would have to get along.
On a routine mission out to the border, Zachiris and Nova would find themselves fighting for their lives against enemy forces wanting to invade Sake’Te’Riah.
