Nice linework/cross-hatching. Usually when I see people do linework, even when it's just coloring something in, they make all the lines go in the same direction, thus flattening the piece. But you avoided that. You have earned a compliment. (: I also like that you used the hatching to show specific surface planes, like the lines below the eye wrinkles that show that the skin over the cheekbone area moves from the eye down the face. It brings in gravity and adds to the illusion of form/a 3D effect. Also, the randomization of linework in the horns to show a bumpy/rough texture. The hatching on the part of the neck just behind the jaw seems a little dark compared to the empty space in the top right corner, I would like it better if it faded the way the background does, but it's not that noticeable considering how wonderful everything else turned out to be. Thanks for submitting this, you've made my day while at the same time made me miss art classes. Stupid snooty college... xB
