Raven Dance

Midnight sadness, coldly glowing
Dance of time is faintly slowing
Tears of blood create a rose
Haunted ruby eyes will close

Ironic smile, banned from light
Forever part of cursed night
Blood will flow from pale white skin
A tear will fall for every sin

Twilight dancing, light and dark
Pierce the flesh to leave a mark
Fighting off the loving madness
Give in to the wretched sadness

Elysium calling, hide away
In the Sylvan prison stay
Safe and locked away with strife
Quell the demons, shadowed life

Every sin creates a tear
Gently glowing embers near
Light will pull away from harm
Dancing in salvation's arms...

All right kittens. This is a short, sentimental poem written during history class last year. The mood is a reflection of my friend Conner's rping char Taikuro, my own character Ember's husband. Perhaps you will like. I was pleasantly pleased with how this poem came out. Please don't steal this, it means a great deal to me.

You can see a picture of Ember and Taikuro here: http://www.sheezyart.com/view/51897/
