A watercolor and gouache (just a little bit) painting done on 20x30 inch 140 pound watercolor paper modeled after Shirow Masamune's cyber-punk illustrative style.
Nicely done, i admire that you managed to get cheeta in a bit bulky armor. It makes sence in physics though, cheeta is know for its speed and fast reflexes, this lowers the speed, but reflexes are quite the same. A good combatant. The coloring is bit too low as it to me, should be highlighted a bit, but it's only my opinnion. Details there are, plenty and thats a good thing too. You've managed to seperate details quite well to everall art, so they dont mix together. Good work! :)
I really rather like this. I particularly like the red reflections (?) in the armor. It looks as thought it might be reflecting the fire from some explosion or something, because the background also suggests fire or explosions. The gun in his right hand was hard to spot at first. I didn't even realize he was holding one until I studied the hand itself. But I absolutely love all the detail. The small things, in my opinion, just make the picture. I'm not great on detail myself. But I like looking at detail! And anyone who can work this cleanly in watercolor has a helluva salute from me.
Pathetic, is it not, that only NOW do I realize how asskicking this picture is? He looks like a slightly more far-fetched version of the soldiers in my own story, except their armor is black with green-yellow areas, and it doesn't have many spikey protrusions, and the armor covers the entire body, as does the headgear, which includes targeting assistance, chemical defense, gas mask, etc...and the standard gun is an M-113 Plasma Rifle. But nevertheless, it looks oddly similar. And the picture itself is just, like I said before, kicking in the assness.
Very nice image, you really captured the Cyberpunk essence in the picture, only thing that would have made this pic any better would have been a wrecked Dragoon in the back going into it's cyber rage [I used to play the game alot with my bro =3 I played a heavy conversion Dragoon, aint played it since my char went into a total insanity and blew itself up ]

Cool mech design--you normally don't think of cheetahs as being used in heavy armor, but it works really well. Good colors.
