I like the shading here, especially on the buddha head. It must have taken a lot of patience to do his hair, especially in charcoal, which I agree is a bitch to use. The cloth in the background is good too. Nice job.
ah, the Buddha! and drawn traditionally to boot! Now that's not something you see often here! (not that I've been here long enough to know what's often here.)
This is realy nicely done. I've just started working with charcoal and can now understand what a pain they are to work with! You did a very lovely job though.
and I must admit, I have a soft spot for your subject :)
