I'm really proud of this piece because I happened to take this picture to school the other day and one of my friends actually completely got the concept that I was trying to convey in this picture. That's a flipn' great compliment in itself.
(The concept being that she may look beautiful but she's really ugly inside [because of her sneer expression], and even though she's surrounded by beautiful things and is in fact a beautiful thing [she's meant to be the actual flower of the piece] she still hides behind her beauty as a security blanket.
By the way, sorry about the quality of the scan. My scanner kills anything colored. D:
