"What have you found, Snag?"
As Malus spoke, he hoped that his pet hadn't found another field mouse to torment. He never could get her to understand that he didn't share her enthusiasm for rodent cuisine. Little did he know that what she found lying in the grass would soon become invaluable to him.

I'll confess this is kind of a hack job. Roughly 80% of the background is made of brushes, and lazily, at that. I spent such a long time trying to get the colors to mesh that by the time I was marginally satisfied, I was sick of looking at this, and also of listening to the Record of Lodoss War soundtrack (which proved the best inspiration for this piece).

Great colors as usual.

Wow, I love the angle! That's really hard for most people but you've got it down pat. Great job!

Brushes, smushes. You made good use of them. I love this! It's so colourful. Gotta love the expression of the characters, and the perspective is really cool, too. That little dragon is the cutest.

I caught the purple dragon!
Anyway, I think it's a great piece. Everybody likes acidtrip colors. I sure do.
What's so valuable?

LOL Yay for horse noses! I find when taking pictures of my horses they always end up looking like this. Good job at drawing it!

the perspective and the dragon's expression make this such a fun picture. Gosh look, you've used bright light and bright colours, and hardly any red at all, and it's even happening in the day time! It's shame we can't know what's in the grass, could make for a great follow up picture. This is great work :)

is that dragon telling me to chilly down?
