Crystalline Departure
Well after all my bitching to someone about severe lack of winter weather in my area, what do we get for a day? A good freeze over.
I personally found I suck at taking shots of frozen things. I guess its lack of practice, but I think thats just me searching for an excuse. This one I am happy with though.
Enjoy

Ha ha, so it's actually a bit colder now? It is hard to photogrhaph snow, because of all the reflections and so on^^ But this was a good one! much of ice on it.. cool^^ a bit too blue for my taste, but a nice photo anyway^^

I love this shot, the light is great!
but that's because the northpole is melting, and the meltwater mangles with the 'warm' sea water, so it cools down the sea (meltwater = around 0 degrees)... en then it cools down the wind.
Yeah, it's colder now
At least, that's the reason I think it is that cold in the Netherlands.

Congrats on getting a feature. I think there are stronger pieces in your gallery, though.
