This painting I did as a gift to my really physically active brother. He got a really big kick outta this painting, as he really loves the big names of martial arts, Bruce Lee being one of them.
This is done in watercolor (maybe you see a pattern developing in my work ;3), but not a drop of actual black paint was used. A really rich purple that looks almost black can be created as this was, using Alizarin Crimson and Prussian Blue.
