uhm, my first tutorial, since lot of people don't have a tablet i wanted to show how i do the hair to my chara with the mouse and the pen tool of photoshop ^^

Hope you don't mind this, but I have to disagree with Phredryk. I find this very hard to follow, not because of your explanations but because it's far too wide for a normal screen - in my experience, most people have a screen 1024 px wide, tops.
Barring that issue completely, I'm very confused as to what you're talking about when you mention numbers - I can figure out when you're talking about bigger numbers, IE 5/7/8, but when you say "the same as step 2" I don't know if you mean the very second picture, or the second step of the most recent picture, or the step directly before the mention. If you're going to use numbers for big steps, it's more followable if you use big letters/small letters for smaller 'steps' (I can't think of another thing to call them right now, sorry). Then, if you want to reference an earlier step, you can say 2a or 4c, or whatever happens to be the case - that way people know you mean big step 2/4, then the small 'step' a/c.
Hopefully all that makes sense, and I also hope you don't think I'm attacking you or anything... Just trying to help
