Gelert & Clyyyyyyde

Oh, Veestah. I am so sorry.

Allow me to explain myself.

I started off thinking "Oh I'll do a Clyyyyyyde pic that will be cute.", and since I'm lazy what I started to do was recolor a random, hastily hand drawn Doorworm I scanned in back in 2005 to look like Clyyyyyyde.

The result was mighty crapful indeed, but since I had already drawn several other worms on the same Photoshop canvas (and wasn't using layers) and didn't feel like erasing the crappy failed attempt at Clyyyyyyde, I decided to draw Gelert since I hadn't drawn him in a while (since 2006 some time) and I drew him in a funky position because I was trying to avoid drawing over the previous crapful Clyyyyyyde.

I thought Gelert looked sort of like he was missing something the way he was looking into this empty space smiling like something was there that I couldn't see, and then I realized what it was, and by then it was too late and I couldn't stop myself.

I had to spend more than an hour de-antialiasing Clyyyyyyde one pixel at a time. It's also amazing how many layers I'll end up making in Photoshop tweeking everything until it's all just right.
