Freedom?

Colored a little sketch I made today.

Rumi had always lived in cities. She prowls the urban jungle fearlessly in her human form, as a wild cat would her territory, she feels at ease among humans and she never thought about living somewhere else. Yet, whenever a mission lead her away and into the wilderness for a while, she really began to feel whole. She didn't have to creep around in the dark when she wanted to live out her feline side, she could just walk proudly in broad daylight. Gaia's presence and peace would soothe her mind, sharpen her senses and make her a completely different person.
Now she's in Nairobi to learn more about her people. She spends as much time as she can in the National Park, where leopards can roam free, but things are very special here. To the sound of an airplane roaring overhead, she looks at Nairobi which borders exactly on the reservation and reminds its inhabitants at any time that this is a little unreal island in an Africa that's very different from the romantic image most Americans and Europeans have of it. The noise of traffic can be heared still a long distance from the city. It's no use hiding in the reservation for the Fera - their true purpose and the real battle lie out there. True freedom doesn't exist anymore, or does it?

x) Sorry for the rambling, just wanted to give a little explanation of my/Rumi's thoughts, and she really had a lot to think about recently.
