It started about sixteen years ago -- for some reason, one of us kids stuck a Chiquita Banana sticker on the forehead of Tazz, our first Pomeranian. It was a running gag for the longest time, even after we all left for school.
When Tazz passed away, we wore Chiquita Banana stickers on our foreheads in honour of his memory.
Even now, whenever we go to my parents' house to visit, it's not unusual to see Toby, Tazz's successor, running around with a Chiquita Banana sticker on his forehead.
