Maybe because I wasn't really patient and wasn't working on good spot. Watercolouring on bed is not good spot. OTL

I failed most at fire and markings on the shoulder/body.
oopsz.

oh well, first-ish time with watercolours. I will improve eventually. AND of courst scanner kills everything~

You didn't do as badly as you think. The anatomy is beautiful, and you managed to capture the swirliness really well. The shading is good, not at all botchy like watercolour sometimes likes to come out, you've managed to get it really smooth, the fire is nice as well and the markings are really defined too. All you'd need to do to this is just add some more orange/yellow highlights to her fur to give more suggestion of the glow from the fire. But all in all it looks beautiful. And I love the paws.
