Done for my friend for a Birthday/Christmas present. Recently during the end of summer, her dog passed away. I felt terrible since I didn't know what to say/do, so I did this. I used a grid pattern to draw it out (grid on photo and measure twice as large on paper, etc).
She didn't ask for anything for her birthday or Christmas, since she knows we're all poor college students... but I felt I needed to do this. Her pup was beautiful anyways... I must of captured it well, because the drawing made her cry.
