This is my latest desktop screenshot taken under VirtualBox 2.1.0 where Windows XP Service Pack 3 is the guest operating system. It's hard disk image size of 64 GB makes it the largest file that will fit on my now one-year old MSI-EX 600 notebook PC.
This screencap is dedicated to
gwensaer who I helped with in the MacOS/OSX forums on 28 July 2008 (
http://forum.deviantart.com/os/mac/1142520/) and it features the
Naruto Xmas - December Pinup wallpaper by
jadeedge. The wallpaper that he made more than three years ago has had huge success on the front page.
Unfortunately, because of the size of the notebook LCD panel (1280 x 800), I had to tile the position of the wallpaper. :(
The music that I was listening to when I took this screencap was actually, America's "The Border" (1984) and the skin for Winamp 5.541 is
Steel This Amp. Surrounding the desktop includes an animated Christmas Tree as well as the Neko kitty from a freeware apptoy called Neko98 v4.0g. The WindowBlinds skin, "Christmas Time" is the same skin that I used from two years go when I first got it.
Unfortunately, VirtualBox has stopped working numerous times when I try to navigate around the site using the Opera browser.
This is also the last submission for 2008. Look for more submissions from me come the new year.
