A Very Sheezy Christmas

"Mommy!!!! Mom, mom, please tell me it's not true!" Ice sobbed, throwing herself at Yasakura. The blonde woman managed to cathch her daughter but that didn't stop her sensitive black ears from going flat against her head. She started rocking the ghost back and forth and rubbing her back to comfort her. "Y-Yami told me th-that Santa Clause isn't real, and I went to ask Trevor if that was true, and he said that Santa wasn just a stupid myth!" Ice hiccuped, hugging her mother tighter. Yasakura narrowed her eyes and glared at nothing.

"Honey, they're just being mean and lying. You know what? I'll let you stay up tonight so you can see Santa yourself," Yasakura said. As Ice looked up doubtfully, Yasakura promised, "Santa willbe here tonight. I promise." Ice smiled happily and ran off yelling "Yami!!!!!!!! Adrian!!!!!!!" Yasakura's eyes narrowed and she started plotting. "Hey, Alu? Can you bring me the phone, please?"

"Give me a minute!!!! I'm...trying *grunt* to give(stop struggling!) Pet Duck a bath! Have your husband do it!" the white haired woman yelled as she tried to keep said yellow-feathered creature from jumping out of the bath tub. Kimaru, hearing the request, brought the phone into her wife while dragging their red-haired son behind her on the rug. Yasakura
thanked the absent-minded woman and patted her son on his head. "Who ya calling?!? Can we switch job?s!" Alu yelled, Ice giggling as her aunt spat a soap covered feather out of her mouth.

"I'm calling a friend who owes me a major, major favor," the cat girl hissed, hitting speed dial 2.

"Who is it? Do you have a boyyyyyyyyfriend? Are you cheating on Dad?" Adrian smirked, before dropping the act and pleading, "Please, please tell me this creature is not my father!" He was pointing up at the silver-haired woman, groveling at his mother's feet. Yasakura shook her head, and he sighed sadly. "I'm gonna go hang with Grandma while she's here. She's usually got some kind of cookie to give me. C'mon Yami," he said, grabbing his brother around the waist and tugging him towards the living room.

"Oh! Tell Trevor I say 'Hi, dummy!' when you call him, " Alu grinned, wrestling Duck back into the bubble bath. Yasakura rolled her eyes and closed the bedroom door on her dysfunctional family.

"Hello?" a voice heavy with sleep answered the phone, looking at his watch and swearing. "Why are you waking me up this early on Christmas Eve?"

"Three things. One: You are so dead for telling Ice that Santa's not real. Two: Guess what? You're going to be Santa Clause tonight for my little girl. Three: It's 8:15 am! It's not early!" Yasakura informed Trevor, smirking as the scientist squeaked in anger. "I don't care what you think of the idea, you are going to make yourself look like the creepy, fat old spook, bring presents in a giant sack, and come down the frickin' chimney!" Laughing, she waited for him to stop spluttering and retaliate.

"But the old man is just a stupid myth! I was simply telling facts; I am not obligated to play dress up as an overweight creep just so you can make Ice believe for one more year!" Trevor shouted indignantly, putthing the phone on speaker so he could lie back down. "I am not doing anything today except eating, breathing, using the facility, and going...back...to...bed! I owe you nothing, Yasakura," the inventor mumbled, shutting his eyes.

"Empy! You are going to dress up as Santa, you are going to bring plenty of presents, and you are going to be nice to Ice!" Yasakura snarled into the phone, narrowing her red eyes and smirking before dropping the bomb. "And trust me, if you don't listen to my instructions and follow them well, my tree topper next year will be your head."

"Yes ma'am," Trev gulped, wide awake since she'd said the old nickname. He hung up, muttering "I'll be there at 12:00am sharp." He wiped a hand over his face and groaned, flopping back on the pillow. "S**t. How am I gonna be Santa??" he mused before pushing the covers off and getting out of bed.

"Daaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!!! Don't eat those! They're for Santa; I made them specially for him!" Ice exclaimed, swatting Kimaru's wandering hand away from the sugar cookies. Yami's eye glinted as he grinned evilly and turned towards the cookies, but Pet Duck sent him shooting towards Adrian and the couch when the yellow fiend goosed him. Yasakura managed to settle everyone down in front of the tree and chimney; Adrain, Yami, and Grandma were on the couch, while Ice and Alu were on the love seat, and Kimaru was on the fluffy beanbag wearing Pet Duck as a hat. Ice's gray cheeks were flushed red and her eyes were wide with excitement. "Is he really coming, Mom?" the ghost asked, giggling as her Aunt started tickling her. Yasakura smirked and brushed her bangs out of her eyes.

"Oh, trust me, he'll be here," she said, going and sitting down in front of her mother, who started playing with her daughter's cat ears as Yami and Adrian watched their mom's tail wave back and forth lethargically. Ice squealed as a fat figure landed with a thump and a muffled 'oof!' in their chimney place, and the duck got so excited he layed an egg on Kimaru's head.

"Ho ho *cough cough* ho! Merry Christmas!" the figure cried in a deep, jolly voice, tossing his sack down and brushing soot off of his coat. He shot a glare at the blone woman and brushed his navy blue hair under his red hat before opening his huge bag. "Now, I have presents for all of you; let's start with Ice, shall we?" the faux Santa asked, waddling towards the small girl who was almost jumping out of her seat with excitement. 'Santa' proceeded to give everyone presents, ate the cookies and milk set out for him, and grinned a sincere smile when the family presented him with gifts of their own. He went back up the chimney with a little 'magic' help from a jet pack and left the children with wide eyes and huge grins.

"Well? Open your presents!" Yasakura ordered; that was all the encouragement her family needed. Ice squealed as she got more adorable stuffies and cute t-shirts; Alu nearly howled with joy at the collection of Poe's stories and a new iPod plus iHome; Grandma was leaped out of her seat when she opened a box to reveal a collapsable, metal cane and a marker/colored penicl set; Yami started cramming his face with the egg white cookies and poring over the manga he'd received; Adrian put the CD in his walkman, cranked it all the way up, and started head banging while drawing on his new sketchpad; Pet Duck was quacking up a storm while struggling to open his Kingdom Hearts manga and hug his new Sasuke chibi; and Kimaru was speechless as he gazed at his new computer that with high-speed internet and a free 'Beat up Trev Robotnik' coupon. Yasakura smiled and walked over to the window to gaze out at the snow.

"Mom? What'd you get?" Ice piped up, concerned that her mother hadn't gotten a present for Santa. Yasakura ruffled the blue hair reassuringly and held up a box.

"Chill. I just haven't opened it yet, honey," the woman said, ripping the paper easily off with a claw. She opened the box carefully and smiled at the content. Adrian's curious face slowly appeared next to hers, but he just turned to her with a puzzled, 'what the f**k' look on his face. "It's a picture album on a CD-Rom," she informed softly, explaining why there was just a silver disk in the box. "C'mon, lets look at them," Yasakura said, popping it into her own pink laptop. She slid to the floor as her family gathered around her. Just outside the window, a shivering teen stood in a lab coat and goggles, watching the family joke around while the photos loaded. He jumped and shrieked as someone tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, moron, get the frick inside before you freeze your anorexic a$$ off," scoffed Alu before knocking on the window. Ice turned and grinned, opening the window to let them in.

"C'mon! Yami made hot cocoa, and we have enough for an extra cup, and Trev, you were wrong! Santa visited and gave us all presents! It was great!!" the ghost exclaimed, pushing their cups at them before sipping out of hers. Yasakura called everyone to attention to look at the photos while sharing a smirk with the blue haired inventor,, and so they spent a lovely Christmas morning with friends and family until *smack!*

"Adrian! WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT PUTTING THE DUCK IN THE FIRE?!?!?!!!" Yasakura exclaimed, leaping at the boy as he dashed up the stairs, upsetting hot chocolate into his dad's lap.

"Ow!"

"Mom! I'm sorry!"

"Oh no, Duckie!"

"Don't kill Adrian! I NEED him!"

"Ohh, boy."

"C'mon loser, let's get some candy canes!"

"Cool...hey! Don't call me that!"

"QUACK!!!!!!!!!"
